Whataburger takes pride in doing things the old-fashioned way, but the launch of its online ordering platform brought the family-owned burger chain into the digital age, allowing customers to place orders from anywhere, anytime.
Whataburger needed to meet its customers’ growing expectations for easy, online ordering.
A small, agile team created a platform that let customers customize meals, save favorites and pay for their orders. We also concepted a rewards program to incentivize customers to use the app.
UX Writer (app copy, transactional messages and emails)
As soon as users login, a dashboard puts them one tap away from placing a new order, paying and ordering one of their favorites. New users are onboarded with quick tutorials on the app’s features.
Every transaction is opportunity to surprise and delight customers and build more love for the Whataburger brand.
